TRX Suspension Training

Short Burst Training and shorter workouts in general are catapulting even the most hardened couch potatoes to a new level of goal achievements. From athletic performance to Zoomer goals to stave off mid-age slumps and bumps, SweatShoppers have found that bite size chunks of training in 25 minutes of TRX (suspension strength training), Kettlebell (the original core training), or Spinning (cardio training at its best), makes high-level fitness reachable.

TRX Suspension Training: Start Now
  • TRX BASICS: This introductory 30-minute group training session will teach you proper set-up and safety. Learn basic exercises for upper and lower body as well as core training. Pre-registration is required.
  • TRX PRIVATE AND SEMI PRIVATE TRAINING SESSIONS with Personal Training Director Sandy Rusch and select TRX-trained trainers. This method is perfect for individualized attention and learning modifications if you have an injury. Personal training packages and pricing apply.
TRX Group Training: Keep Going

Once you have taken TRX Basics or a private session, you may choose from scheduled TRX group trainings.

  • TRX25: A time-efficient action-packed 25-minute workout that moves fast through upper body, lower body, and core exercises. TRX25 is perfect in combination with your own cardio workout or on alternate days for Pilates.
Kettlebell: Simple – Powerful – Portable

Increase strength, endurance, agility and balance while challenging both the muscular and cardiovascular systems with dynamic movements. Kettlebells are safe and effective with proper technique and regular use. Most women start with 8–12 kilos and men start with 12–16 kilos and progress up quickly. KB25 as part of the SBT menu requires that all participants completed: 1) Beginner program at SweatShop or elsewhere OR 2) Kettlebell Basics at SweatShop OR 3) Private session with a SweatShop Kettlebell Trainer.

  • Kettlebell Basics: this 55-minute session focuses on technique, form, safety, and foundational exercises. It is both a coaching session and a workout. Upon completion, you will be ready to drop in to KB25. Basics is offered once a month and may be purchased as a single session or part of the SBT package.
  • Kettlebell Private or Semi-Private sessions: available with select Kettlebell trainers. These sessions will prepare you for any KB workout, improve technique, find modifications, and help prevent injury. Personal training pricing applies.
Affordable and Worth Every Penny

Short Burst Training sessions are available in singles or 10-session packages with 90-day expirations. Once you’ve purchased a package, use our online Web self-booker. Reservations will be available up to 45 days out and participants are encouraged to book at least 24 hours in advance. (Training group minimum of 4 persons or may be cancelled.)
